Moreland Trust is no longer registered with the CQC as we do not currently provide personal care or any other regulated activities. We do, however, continue to provide high quality services to our beneficiaries. 

 

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the regulator for all the health and social care services in England.

 

Their job is to check that services meet the government's standards or rules about care.

 

They check to make sure that people receive safe, effective, high quality care.

 

The CQC inspect Moreland Trust care services on a regular basis to make sure that we are meeting people's needs.

 

Our last inspection identified that we meet all of the required standards.

Moreland Trust Quality Monitoring

 

We aim to maintain quality by:

 

  • Adopting robust recruitment procedures. All staff have an enhanced DBS and references are obtained.

 

  • Ensuring all staff are suitably qualified and trained.

 

  • Auditing and reviewing our internal policies and procedures.

 

  • Reviewing care plans and assessments.

 

  • Seeking feedback from clients via satisfaction surveys

 

  • Conducting spot checks on care staff.

 

  • Maintaining regular contact with clients by the Registered Manager.

 

  • Six weekly care worker supervision.

 

  • Annual appraisals of staff.

 

  • Responding to any issues promptly and effectively.

Moreland Trust Complaints Procedure

 

If you have any complaints oe concerns about the services that you have recieved from any of our staff, please let us know.

 

We hope that mosts problems can be sorted out easily and quickly, often at the time they arise and with the person concerned.  If your problem can not be sorted this way and you wish to make a complaint, we would like to know as soon as possible.  Please find details of our complaints procedure through the following link:
